WINGS: SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF MIGRANT WOMEN

The WINGS project aims to support the social and economic empowerment and inclusion of migrant women through dedicated high quality learning opportunities; build capacity and enhance competences of adult educators/trainers; stimulate migrant women's participation in civic and social life; promote tolerance, mutual understanding, and social cohesion. The project aspires to influence policy solutions that are centered around immigrants, and particularly migrant women. 


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2022) is coordinated by Stichting Netwerkpro, the Netherlands, and brings together partners from Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Spain.

INN-CO: INNOVATIVE COLLABORATIONS

The INN-CO project aims to strengthen the competences in the digital management of social enterprise projects in Europe, increasing the collective capacities of European social entrepreneurs by sharing practices and innovations. INN-CO will also contribute to the creation of a Virtual Cluster for Social Enterprises. 


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2022) is coordinated by Istituto Regionale per la Formazione e la ricerca, Italy, and brings together partners from Cyprus, Poland, Belgium and France.

CYBERSENIORS – ACTIVE AGEING THROUGH ICT

The main objective of Cyberseniors project is to train people over 55 at risk of socio-digital exclusion in general, and in rural areas in particular, in the use of ICT tools that help them perform daily tasks in different areas: leisure, health, online banking, virtual communication, public administrations, etc. This idea has been reinforced by the Covid-19 crisis that erupted in Europe in March 2020, and which has caused collective priorities to change globally. 


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2023) is coordinated by Cibervoluntarios, Spain, and brings together partners from Austria, Ireland, Romania and Cyprus.

DESIGNING WITH LEGO: THE ECO-CITIES OF TOMORROW

Designing with Lego: The Eco-Cities of Tomorrow is an aspiring project aiming to put the environment first in the consciousness of young people. Inspired by the teachings of Ian McHarg and the UN SDGs we aim to develop with and provide educators with the necessary tools to promote ecological concepts in city planning and development through an interactive classroom experience. This hands-on approach will involve the design of a futuristic eco-city by the students using LEGO, utilising play-based learning.


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2022) is coordinated by FO-Aarhus, Denmark, and brings together partners from Germany, Portugal, North Macedonia and Cyprus.

NCLB - NO LEFT BEHIND CHILDREN

The project No Left Behind Children focuses on developing competences for parental educators working with migrant parents with the purpose of facilitating the interaction between separated parents and children. The project responds to the critical situation of children left behind by parents migrating for work, children who are feeling abandoned and without support in their most important years of development, when emotional security plays a very important role. 


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2022) is coordinated by Noi Re-Cream, Romania, and brings together partners from Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Spain and Greece.

MAKING LEARNING FUN AND ECOLOGICAL

The Making Learning Fun and Ecological project aspires to introduce young people to entrepreneurship (with mentions of current policies in Europe regarding youth unemployment & social enterprises) while also increasing awareness on environmental and climate matters. The project aims to develop and introduce innovation into learning and teaching materials on the topic of social entrepreneurship, linking it to environmental consciousness. The materials will be available online (in a printable format) and based on gamification practices. 


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2021) is coordinated by Civil Society Organization Eco Logic, North Macedonia, and brings together partners from Slovenia and Cyprus.

AID- ADULT INCLUSIVE DESIGN

The main goal of the AID project is to support older people in connecting with society and to develop an open attitude towards other people, stimulating and enabling older people to remain actively engaged in society. We believe that we need role-models volunteers that can bring this attitude and culture of being inclusive into organizations and communities.


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2022) is coordinated by UNIVERSIDAD DE CASTILLA - LA MANCHA, Spain, and brings together partners from Italy, Cyprus and Poland.

VEGA - VIRTUAL REALITY EDUCATION & GAME BASED ACHIEVEMENTS IN CLASSROOMS

The VEGA Project addresses the challenge of mobilizing students’ interest and engagement in school activities by promoting teaching based on computer games (Game-based learning - GBL) as well as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications (VR/AR). 

These tools have the potential to facilitate the learning process in a way that respects the students’ cognitive, social, and cultural backgrounds while addressing the curriculum standards that they need to attain. 


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2022) is coordinated by Smedsby-Böle skola, Finland, and brings together partners from Iceland, Poland, Cyprus and Spain.

SELC: SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Social entrepreneurship in Local Communities - SELC, aims to develop an innovative, integrated social incubation business model for entrepreneurs in order to start a business with a strong social impact in local communities. It further aims to provide guidance and training for 60 adults and 10 partners’ employees who will improve their skills by learning all steps and tools of the social incubation business models matching the community realities and lasty it aims to create an alternative funding instrument for social entrepreneurs and businesses and increasing visibility of the social entrepreneurship. 


This Erasmus+ project (2019-2021) is coordinated by Civitas Foundation for Civil Society - Cluj-Napoca Branch, Romania, and brings together partners from Cyprus, Italy and Belgium.

VOLUME: VOLUNTEER FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS GET EDUCATED

The VOLUME project aims to provide volunteers, who care about unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in the EU, with key information, including topics, like reception and housing, education and training, health and wellbeing, family reunification and legal framework. To reach this objective, the project will develop a training platform with training modules for volunteers, accompanied by a curricular handbook for educators who are planning to set up a blended learning course for volunteers in the field.


This Erasmus+ project (2020-2023) is coordinated by Verein Niedersächsischer Bildungsinitiativen e.V., Germany, and brings together organisations from Cyprus, Germany, Austria, Italy and the United Kingdom

STEAMY WONDERS- HACKING THE CODE FOR WOMEN IN STEAM

The aim of the STEAMY WONDER project is to pilot a multi-faceted educational intervention targeted at women of all ages. It also seeks to achieve a greater gender balance in the STEAM sector by promoting a culture of scientific thinking among women using evidence-based reasoning for decision making especially where career planning is concerned and, by providing appropriate and tangible role model case studies to ensure women have the confidence to participate in an increasingly complex scientific and technological world

INFORMER- INTEGRATION 4 FEMALE MIGRANTS

There is a strong link between refugees’ employment and their social network. Within this context, the INFORMER project objectives are to, support the economic and social integration of migrant women, support the capacity of migrant women to interact and feel at ease in their social environment and their participation to social and political life at local level and/or support migrant women moving into work and facilitate their sustainable labour market integration

AUTISM-VR: SOCIAL INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM SYNDROME THROUGH VIRTUAL REALITY

The project ‘Social Inclusion of People with Autism Spectrum Syndrome through Virtual Reality’ (VRAA) aims to develop tools with the purpose of enhancing social inclusion of people with autism spectrum syndrome, using virtual reality.


A multi-skilled partnership composed of organisations active in the field of digital-based technologies, social, labour market integration, and special educational needs, will develop a VR training toolkit for people with ASD with the purpose of rehabilitation and training in communication and social skills. Furthermore, potential employers will be informed about the advantages of hiring a person with ASD.

VALOR: VALORISATION OF ANCIENT FARMING TECHNIQUES IN RESILIENT AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

The VALOR Alliance will jointly design curricula, an education program and common modules between Alliance members and will ensure the relevance towards the needs of the labour market considering resilient and sustainable farming which are demonstratively applied in protected areas of the Parks allied within VALOR,- representing a broad segment of the target market of VALOR.

mentorNET: MENTORING BY EXTENDED NETWORKS TO ORGANISE VOLUNTEER RESOURCES

mentorNET is working across and beyond the partner organisations' countries to establish a network of migrant organisations and the mentors they are supporting. MentorNET builds on the work of previous projects and is designed to deliver knowledge and information concerning, among others, best practice about sustainable network organisational structures and a mentoring MOOC that helps people wishing to become volunteer mentor to migrants.

YOUTH2UNITE: EMPOWERING YOUTH TO UNITE AND STAND UP AGAINST HATE AND VIOLENCE

Youth2Unite has been developed as a result of the rising incidences of hate crime – physical and online – which are occurring across Europe and which are gaining momentum. The project is aimed at equipping youth workers with the tools to help identify and combat hate crime behaviours in young people. Youth2Unite will encourage a change in attitude in young people, helping them consider the impact of their physical or online attacks and to become, instead, active agents for change.

PROM-PAR: PROMOTING MIGRANTS’ DEMOCRATIC PARTICIPATION AND INTEGRATION

The team at the PROM-PAR project works on developing an effective civic education training system, to equip migrants with knowledge such as virtues, norms and critical thinking. This in order to strengthen their autonomy, self-efficacy and self-confidence, and consequently the participation in civic life of the target group. This will be done through an open online education resource containing modules on civic education topics aimed at both newly arrived and settled asylum seekers/beneficiaries of international protection.

The “ALTERNATIVA – “the power of community through social entrepreneurship” project aims to enable adults to acquire and develop skills and competencies needed for their employability, to turn their business ideas into concrete actions while also caring for environmental sustainability and community growth.

THINK GLOBAL, ENTREPRENEUR LOCAL

THINK GLOBAL, ENTREPRENEUR LOCAL aims to empower students who will see themselves as young innovators and change-makers who can make a difference in creative ways and launch their own initiatives. The project aims to l increase the competences of direct participants in supporting and initiating projects and programs using the various aspects of social entrepreneurship education. Students are expected to discover new forms of being creative and finding entrepreneurial solutions for solving social problems and improve their communication skills.

WORKABLE: DEVELOPING COMPETENCES OF ADULT EDUCATORS TO SUPPORT THE EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS WITH MENTAL DISABILITIES

WORKABLE's overall aim is to strengthen capacities of adult educators/mentors working with persons with mental disabilities (PMD) and to offer supportive, tailored and effective support to PMD to gain autonomy, self-confidence and enter the labour market. The main objective concerns the development of training modules and mentoring methods in job coaching for people with mental disabilities.  The project will lay the foundation for the definition of educational contents and learning outcomes in order to upgrade these modules, after the project completion, into a new VET Curriculum.
