SEEDplus: SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR EXCHANGE AND DEVELOPMENT

SEEDplus project (part of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme) supports aspiring social entrepreneurs to connect and learn from their experienced counterparts in another participating country. With partners in the Netherlands, Estonia, Germany, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Greece, Portugal and Cyprus, we are building the new generation of social entrepreneurs through European peer learning. SYNTHESIS is now the Intermediary Organisation that brings together aspiring and experienced social entrepreneurs to inspire each other and develop social entrepreneurship in Europe.

NEW ABC: NETWORKING THE EDUCATION WOLRD: ACROSS BOUNDRIES FOR COMMUNITY-BUILDING

The NEW ABC project contributes to educational, cultural and social inclusion by taking a collaborative and participatory approach in  the co-creation of nine innovation pilot actions aimed at enhancing the integration of immigrant children and young people in  education through collaborative partnerships that foreground young person-led innovation activities. The project focuses on finding effective solutions to the integration of refugee and migrant children into host societies through education. The project will be implemented by 14 partners in 9 European countries: Italy, Cyprus, UK, Finland, Poland, France, Portugal, Belgium and Spain. It is funded by EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme for the period between 2021-2024.

RaCIP - RAISING CAPACITY FOR INCLUSIVE PEOPLE ENGAGED IN PRIVATE SPONSORSHIP

RaCIP will enhance capacity building for organisations operating Private Sponsorship (PS) schemes* or otherwise engaged in community-based support to refugees’ integration. The project will feature several pilot schemes aimed at scaling up existing PS and strengthening community-based efforts by experimenting PS initiatives in the Member States involved.Two goals inspire this action: boosting the capacities of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and local communities and promoting the active involvement of refugees in their integration process. The partnership consists of organizations from Italy, Greece, Cyprus, France and Portugal. It is funded by the EU’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) for the period 2020-2023.

MUMS@WORK

The Project Mums@Work is a two-year project funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union and it aims at enhancing the social integration and the employability of Migrant Mothers. Through its design, the project provides tailor-made support to migrant mothers as the main long term beneficiaries, working with them on a case-to-case basis so as to respond flexibly to individual situations, requirements and personal outlooks.  The counselling sessions are aimed at facilitating social integration of migrant mothers and opening avenues for labour market orientation, whereas the work experience opportunities will bring migrant mothers closer to the labour market and economic integration.

CO-ART: CHALLENGE-BASED ONLINE TOOLS TO DEVELOP ENTREPRENEURIAL AND DIGITAL COMPETENCES AMONG YOUNG ARTPRENEURS

Using online escape rooms, CO-ART is supporting young Culture and Creative sector (CCS) professionals and aspiring art entrepreneurs to develop entrepreneurial and digital competences. At the same time, youth workers will be equipped with tools to provide dynamic non-formal online learning process. The main aim of CO-ART is to reinforce digital networks between young unemployed or self-employed CCS workers and encourage them to be the key players who accelerate the digital transformation and innovative, entrepreneurial mind-set in CCS. The project partners are 6 organizations from France, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Spain and Poland. It is funded under the Erasmus+ Programme for the period between 2021-2023.

STORY MAKER: MANY VOICES MANY LIVES

STORY MAKERS project focuses on enabling youth workers to use the power of story-making to engage and work with socially excluded young people, equipping them with resilience, confidence, self-esteem and life skills. It aims to foster the inclusion and employability of young people with fewer opportunities, through the promotion of quality youth work Through the project youth workers will increase their skills to engage socially excluded young people, young people’s creativity and initiative will be stimulated, motivating them about their future while they become aware of services, support networks, and means of accessing qualifications for further education and/or employment. The partnership consists of organizations from the UK, Cyprus, Portugal and Poland. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020-2022.

POETA: POETRY-BASED APPROACH IN BASIC EDUCATION FOR ADULTS

POETA aims to contribute to the empowerment of people being "on the way to the written word", including first and second language learners. The poetry-pedagogical approach is intended to offer a complementary or an alternative to traditional concepts of literacy and basic education, which are focused on the integration of people into economic processes and argue in a deficit-oriented manner. In cooperation with culturally diverse European partners, an innovative and holistic concept for working with poetic texts in basic education, presented in an e-book, is to be developed, explored and integrated into teacher training via MOOC. The partner consortium consists of five European organisations from Germany, Austria, Spain, Cyprus and Greece. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme between the period of 2021 to 2023.

AR4STEM: AUGMENTED REALITY STEM EDUCATION

The objective of AR4STEM is to promote Augmented Reality (AR) for teachers as an innovative and efficient digital tool to transform the traditional STEM learning process into an interactive experience and promotes gender equality in STEM.  With the aim of tackling the challenge that teachers are facing today - to find new, attractive methods for educating students on important topics of STEM, project partners will create16 Interactive educational STEM materials (based on created 16 STEM learning lessons plans) with AR features using of Augmented Reality app and 1 guidebook "How to use Augmented Reality in STEM education" for teachers. Project partners will create 1 motivational program to promote the engagement of girls' in STEM. The project is implemented between partners in Latvia, Cyprus, Lithuania and Slovenia. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme between the period of 2021 to 2023.

CHERISHED: SUPPORTING SCHOOL-EDUCATORS IN USE OF CULTURAL HERITAGE FOR INCLUSIVE DIGITAL EDUCATION

The project intends to improve secondary school teachers’ capacity to use digital cultural heritage resources in their teaching and provide cultural heritage institutions access to a much needed resource for ensuring their online collections and digital offer relates to educational curricula. A self-paced, open-access training programme will be created for teachers to improve their skills and assess their readiness for integrating digital cultural heritage into their teaching, while secondary school students will benefit from exposure and engagement with digital cultural heritage collections. The project is implemented between partners in Belgium, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, Slovakia and Netherlands. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme between the period of 2021 to 2023.

KIDPRENEURSHIP - DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP MIND SET IN OUR KIDS

KIDpreneurship has the main objective of developing and implementing innovative practices to teach Entrepreneurship to children from the age of 5 years old. To inspire kids and help them develop an enterprising attitude, teachers need a wide range of competences related to creativity and entrepreneurship. They require an environment where creativity and risk-taking are encouraged, and mistakes are valued as a learning opportunity that requires developing school leaders and teaching staff competencies. The project will design an exciting course for KIDpreneurship teachers to assist them in their entrepreneurial work with students. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme, for the period of 2020 - 2022.

ESESII: ENABLING SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS TO SCALE THEIR IMPACT INTERNATIONALLY

Enabling Social Entrepreneurs to Scale their Impact Internationally (ESESII) aims to identify the skills and competences gap impeding social entrepreneurs to internationalise, diversify the European VET provision through the development of an innovative curriculum on social entrepreneurs’ internationalisation with a focus on individuals with fewer opportunities; build the skills and capacity of national social enterprises support organisations’ staff to guide their beneficiaries in their internationalisation strategy; and advise European and national policy-makers and interest groups on the necessary policy steps to enhance the capacity of social entrepreneurs’ to internationalise.

 

It brings together partners from the Netherlands, Austria, Cyprus, Germany and Italy. It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme between the period of 2020 and 2023.

PEPPY: PROMOTE EDUCATION, PARTICIPATION AND PROJECTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

The PEPPY project is focusing on NEET youth between 18 to 25 years old. It aims to enable these disadvantaged young people to discover their skills and expand their knowledge by implementing projects that will encourage their entrepreneurial skills. For the project’s purposes, a digital platform will be created which will combine the dynamics of collaborative workshops and idea incubators. Young people will be supported and supervised in their efforts by multidisciplinary teams of educational professionals. PEPPY will also address a second target group comprising adult educators working with young people, pedagogical staff, teachers, professors or trainers, and other educational actors. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ programme, for the period of 2020 - 2022.

DIGI-PATH: PROMOTING THE INTEGRATION OF MIGRANTS AT LOCAL LEVEL THROUGH DIGITAL SKILLS

Digi-Path has a primary objective to foster the successful inclusion and participation of TCNs and their family members in the host EU country's civic and social life providing equal access to information and services that will increase their well-being. Digi-Path brings together six partners from Germany, Cyprus, Belgium and Greece. Digi-Path is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, for the period of 2020 - 2022.

RADEX: MOBILISING AGAINST EXTREMISM THROUGH COUNTERING AND DIVERTING RADICALISATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE

RADEX is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, running from 2020 – 2022. The project RADEX aims to prevent and divert young people’s radicalisation through providing them with the capacity to identify and comprehend different types of online radicalisation processes. RADEX brings together six partners from the UK, Cyprus, Belgium France, Germany and Greece and it is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020 – 2022.

SUS21: EDUCATION AS A CONSRUCTOR OF SOCIAL AND CULTURAL SUSTAINABILITY FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

SUS21 concentrates on promoting social and cultural sustainability in the field of adult education. The project will create applicable education modules based on the Agenda 2030, in order to implement the ideas and practices of social and cultural sustainability into adult education and civil society. The main target groups are educators, facilitators and coordinators in the field of adult education and people working with civil society associations and NGOs. SUS21 brings together six partners from Finland, Cyprus, Poland and Italy and is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period of  2020 – 2022.

WINGS: SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT OF MIGRANT WOMEN

The WINGS project aims to support the social and economic empowerment and inclusion of migrant women through dedicated high quality learning opportunities; build capacity and enhance competences of adult educators/trainers; stimulate migrant women's participation in civic and social life; promote tolerance, mutual understanding, and social cohesion. The project aspires to influence policy solutions that are centered around immigrants, and particularly migrant women. The partnership consists of organizations from Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Malta and the Netherlands. It is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union for the period 2020-2022.

INN-CO: INNOVATIVE COLLABORATIONS

The INN-CO project aims to strengthen the competences of the participants in the digital management of social enterprise projects in Europe, increasing the collective capacities of European social entrepreneurs by sharing practices and innovations. INN-CO will also contribute to the creation of a Virtual Cluster for Social Enterprises. INN-CO project brings together partners form Italy, Cyprus, Poland, Belgium and France. It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period of  2020 – 2022.

CYBERSENIORS – ACTIVE AGEING THROUGH ICT

The main objective of Cyberseniors project is to train people over 55 at risk of socio-digital exclusion in general, and in rural areas in particular, in the use of ICT tools that help them perform daily tasks in different areas: leisure, health, online banking, virtual communication, public administrations, etc., and how to use them. This idea has been reinforced by the Covid-19 crisis that erupted in Europe in March 2020, and which has caused collective priorities to change globally. The consortium is made up of 5 organizations from Spain, Austria, Ireland, Romania and Cyprus and it is funded by the Erasmus+ project for the period 2020-2023.

DESIGNING WITH LEGO: THE ECO-CITIES OF TOMORROW

Designing with Lego: The Eco-Cities of Tomorrow is an aspiring project aiming to put the environment first in the consciousness of young people. Inspired by the teachings of Ian McHarg and the UN SDGs we aim to develop with and provide educators with the necessary tools to promote ecological concepts in city planning and development through an interactive classroom experience. This hands-on approach will involve the design of a futuristic eco-city by the students using LEGO, utilising play-based learning.The consortium is made up of 5 organisations from Denmark, Germany, Portugal, North Macedonia and Cyprus and it's funded by the Erasmus+ Programme for the period 2020-2022.

NCLB - NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND

The project focuses on developing competences for parental educators working with migrant parents with the purpose of facilitating the interaction between separated parents and children. The project responds to the critical situation of children left behind by parents migrating for work, feeling abandoned and without support in their most important years of development, when emotional security plays a very important role. The partners include six partners from Romania, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Spain and Greece adn it is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period of  2020-2022.

MAKING LEARNING FUN AND ECOLOGICAL

Making Learning Fun and Ecological aspires to introduce young people to entrepreneurship (with mentions of current policies in Europe regarding youth unemployment & social enterprises) while also increasing awareness on environmental and climate matters. The project aims to develop and introduce innovation into learning and teaching materials on the topic of social entrepreneurship, linking it to environmental consciousness. The materials will be available online (in a printable format) and based on gamification practices. The partnership consists of organizations from North Macedonia, Slovenia and Cyprus.It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020-2021.

AID- ADULT INCLUSIVE DESIGN

The objective of the AID project is for older people to play an active role in our society by making it more inclusive and by being the link to different realities.  The main goal of the project is to support older people to connect to society and to develop an open attitude towards other people, stimulating and enabling older people to remain actively engaged in society. We believe that we need role-models volunteers that can bring this attitude and culture of being inclusive into organizations and communities. The partnership consists of organizations from Spain, Italy, Cyprus and Poland. It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020-2022.

VEGA - VIRTUAL REALITY EDUCATION & GAME BASED ACHIEVEMENTS IN CLASSROOMS

VEGA Project addresses the challenge of mobilizing students’ interest and engagement in school activities by promoting teaching based on computer games (Game-based learning - GBL) as well as Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications (VR/AR). These tools have the potential to facilitate the learning process in a way that respects the students’ cognitive, social, and cultural backgrounds while addressing the curriculum standards that they need to attain. The partnership consists of organizations from Finland, Iceland, Poland, Cyprus and Spain. It is funded by the Erasmus+ program for the period 2020-2022.

SELC: SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Social entrepreneurship in Local Communities - SELC, is a project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, running from 2019 - 2021. It aims to develop an  innovative, integrated social incubation business model for entrepreneurs in order to start a business with a strong social impact in local communities; to provide guidance and training for 60 adults and 10 partners’ employees who will improve their skills by learning all steps and tools of the social incubation business models matching the community realities; and to create an alternative funding instrument for social entrepreneurs and businesses and increasing visibility of the social entrepreneurship. SELC brings together six partners from Cyprus, Romania, Italy and Belgium.

VOLUME: VOLUNTEER FOR UNACCOMPANIED MINORS GET EDUCATED

The VOLUME project aims to provide volunteers, who care about unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in the EU, with key, including topics, like reception and housing, education and training, health and wellbeing, family reunification and legal framework. To reach this objective, the project will develop a training platform with training modules for volunteers, accompanied by a curricular handbook for educators who are planning to set up a blended learning course for volunteers in the field.

The partnership consists of organizations from Cyprus, Germany, Austria, Italy and the United Kingdom. It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020-2023

STEAMY WONDERS- HACKING THE CODE FOR WOMEN IN STEAM

The aim of the STEAMY WONDER project is to pilot a multi-faceted educational intervention targeted at women of all ages to address these issues. Among others it seeks to achieve a greater gender balance in the STEAM sector by:

a) promoting a culture of scientific thinking among women using evidence-based reasoning for decision making especially where career planning is concerned; b) provide appropriate and tangible role model case studies to ensure women have the confidence to participate in an increasingly complex scientific and technological world; and others.

The partnership brings together organizations from Croatia, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Spain, Czech Republic and Cyprus. It is funded under the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020-2022.

INFORMER- INTEGRATION 4 FEMALE MIGRANTS

There is a strong link between refugees’ employment and their social network. Within this context, the INFORMER project objectives are to:

- support the economic and social integration of migrant women

- support the capacity of migrant women to interact and feel at ease in their social environment and their participation to social and political life at local level and/ or

- support migrant women moving into work and facilitate their sustainable labour market integration

The partnership is comprised by institutions from the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Belgium and Cyprus. It is funded by the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2020-2023.

AUTISM-VR: SOCIAL INCLUSION OF PEOPLE WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM SYNDROME THROUGH VIRTUAL REALITY

The project ‘Social Inclusion of People with Autism Spectrum Syndrome through Virtual Reality’ (VRAA) aims to develop tools with the purpose of enhancing social inclusion of people with autism spectrum syndrome, using virtual reality. 

A multi-skilled partnership composed of organisations active in the field of digital-based technologies, social, labour market integration, and special educational needs, will develop a VR training toolkit for people with ASD with the purpose of rehabilitation and training in communication and social skills. Furthermore, potential employers will be informed about the advantages of hiring a person with ASD.

VALOR: VALORISATION OF ANCIENT FARMING TECHNIQUES IN RESILIENT AND SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE

The VALOR Alliance will jointly design curricula, an education program and common modules between Alliance members and will ensure the relevance towards the needs of the labour market considered of resilient and sustainable farming, demonstratively applied in protected areas of the Parks allied within VALOR,- representing a broad segment of the target market of VALOR. The Alliance VALOR is formed by partners from Italy, Greece, Germany, Romania, Spain, Turkey and Cyprus. The project is founded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance programme (2019-2022)

mentorNET: MENTORING BY EXTENDED NETWORKS TO ORGANISE VOLUNTEER RESOURCES

mentorNET is working across and beyond the partner organisations' countries to establish a network of migrant organisations and the mentors they are supporting. MentorNET builds on the work of previous projects and is designed to deliver knowledge and information concerning, among others, best practice about sustainable network organisational structures and a mentoring MOOC that helps people wishing to become volunteer mentor to migrants.

YOUTH2UNITE: EMPOWERING YOUTH TO UNITE AND STAND UP AGAINST HATE AND VIOLENCE

Youth2Unite has been developed as a result of the rising incidences of hate crime – physical and online – which are occurring across Europe and which are gaining momentum. Aimed at equipping youth workers with the tools to help identify and combat hate crime behaviours in young people, Youth2Unite will encourage a change in attitude in young people and encourage them to consider the impact of their physical or online attacks and to become, instead, active agents for change.

PROM-PAR: PROMOTING MIGRANTS’ DEMOCRATIC PARTICIPATION AND INTEGRATION

PROM PAR project team will work on developing an effective civic education training system, to equip the target group with knowledge such as virtues, norms and critical thinking. This in order to strengthen their autonomy, self-efficacy and self-confidence, and consequently the participation in civic life of the target group. This will be done through an open online education resource containing modules on civic education topics aimed at both newly arrived and settled asylum seekers/beneficiaries of international protection.

The “ALTERNATIVA – “the power of community through social entrepreneurship” project is aiming to enable adults to acquire and develop skills and competencies needed for their employability, to turn their business ideas into concrete actions while also caring for environmental sustainability and community growth.

THINK GLOBAL, ENTREPRENEUR LOCAL

The goal of the project is to empower students who will see themselves as young innovators and change-makers who can make a difference in creative ways and launch their own initiatives. The project aims to l increase the competences of direct participants in supporting and initiating projects and programs using the various aspects of social entrepreneurship education. Students are expected to discover new forms of being creative and finding entrepreneurial solutions for solving social problems and improve their communication skills. WORKABLE: DEVELOPING COMPETENCES OF ADULT EDUCATORS TO SUPPORT THE EMPLOYMENT OF PERSONS WITH MENTAL DISABILITIES

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen capacities of adult educators/mentors working with persons with mental disabilities (PMD) to offer supportive, tailored and effective support to PMD to gain autonomy, self-confidence and enter the labour market. The main objective concerns the development of training modules and mentoring methods in job coaching for people with mental disabilities.  The project will lay the foundation for the definition of educational contents and learning outcomes in order to upgrade these modules, after the project completion, into a new VET Curriculum. The project is founded by Erasmus+ programme ( 2019-2021)

SEEDS: SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EMPOWERING DEVELOPMENT IN PRESCHOOLS

SEEDS is a European project funded by the European fund Erasmus+. The main goal of the project is to develop pedagogical methods for preschool education, to support early learning of relevant skills like entrepreneurial mindsets, digital media and to insure social inclusion of all children in this learning. SEEDS aims to equip children from an early age, with the seeds for the development of an entrepreneurial compass in interplay with digital media. This compass starts from the individual as a citizen and builds on their particular skills and competences to enhance the four points of the compass; critical reflection, collaboration, co-creation and agency.

D-LEARNING: DESIGN THINKING AS A MEANS TO INNOVATIVE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT IN ADULT LEARNING

The project aims primarily (a) To raise awareness on the Design Thinking methodology, which provides a solution-based approach to solving problems, by understanding the human needs involved, re-framing the problem in human centric ways, creating ideas in brainstorming sessions and adopting a hands-on approach in prototyping and testing in a five-step ideation process, and (b) to transfer and adapt the approach of Design Thinking in the needs of adult learning institutions

WORK-VR: PILOTING VIRTUAL REALITY FOR LANGUAGE IN THE CONTEXT OF EMPLOYABILITY

Work-VR uses an online e-training platform for imparting work-related language and culture skills, coupled with an immersive Virtual Reality. WORK-VR primarily aims to better equip the users for the labor market through an increased level of linguistic, cultural and digital knowledge; to provide VET students with an innovative learning method; and to support and enhance the learning of trade-specific vocabularies within the sectors of health, service and construction.​ Work-VR is funded by European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme (2018-2020)

SKILLDISPLAY - SHOW WHAT YOU CAN DO!

The SKILLDISPLAY is implementing and improving the SkillDisplay platform structured in five intellectual output segments, each covering an aspect of the development process or underlying research.

The SkillDisplay project is a cooperation of various parties spread across the European Union and each intellectual output involves one or more of our partners, each contributing their specific competences to the final product. The SkillDisplay project is supported to enrich functionalities, create use cases and review them together with partners over the course of an Erasmus+ action (2018-2020).

TESEO - Arianna's strands in the digital age

TESEO is an Erasmus+ Higher Education project, running from October 2019 to September 2021. The project focuses on the development of a new training curriculum that can update and develop materials and educational tools in line with the labor market and which can offer a new awareness of Europe's cultural heritage and digital skills. The project also aims to create a digital platform with multilinear educational pathways, ranging from e-learning to gaming, capable of customizing teaching procedures and offering informal learning tools with perfect scalability. The project is coordinated by the University of Salerno, Italy, and brings together organizations and institutions from Cyprus, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, and France.

What2DoIf: Effective guidance for successful integration of foreign communities through language acquisition

WHATtoDOif is to help newly-arrived foreigners, migrants and refugees to get oriented in the host-country economic, education, social and other systems, thus preventing their social exclusion or heavy dependency on their ethnic community. Migrants will improve their knowledge of the thematic areas selected by the consortium regarding the local system in partners’ countries. In addition, migrants will be provided with a useful glossary and video tutorials that will support their communication and interaction in the local language. Last but not least, migrants will be more confident in how to find solutions for specific problems they might face while trying to organize their life in a new country.

GREEN S.E.E.D.S. - Supporting individuals in acquiring and developing basic skills and key competences

GREEN S.E.E.D.S. focuses on the risk that the geographical isolation of schools in the mountain and smaller islands may lead to their cultural isolation, mining the youngest’s correct knowledge, understanding, and participation to the globalized and constantly interconnected world of today. GREEN S.E.E.D.S. aims to break the isolation of decentralized schools, allowing dialogue between pupils who, although geographically distant, share similar socio-environmental realities.

X-Cape: Breakout Challenges for Developing Transversal Skills

The objectives of the project are to  - promote creative and critical thinking through the development of alternative pedagogical resources using digital breakouts based on constructivist learning theory - Encourage the development of creative and critical thinking skills in VET environments where non-formal and informal learning can flourish - Support front-line VET tutors to harness the potential of mobile learning environments to build high-value skillsets within their marginalized target groups - Foster an entrepreneurial spirit among young Europeans ensuring that they have the necessary skills to research, select, analyze, organize and present information.

The V-Pal Project: Video-based peer practice among language teachers

The V-PAL project (Video-based peer practice among language teachers) aims to provide a platform and know-how for language teachers in adult education to produce, share and peer-review hand-held videos of their own teaching practices as a method for strengthening their teaching skills. The developed V-PAL Platform offers a possibility to share didactical reflections and inspiration in language teaching practice. The project is led by Vifin, Denmark with partners from Cyprus, Germany, and Spain.

MESI: Migrant Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion

The MESI project aims to develop a training curriculum and an e-course specifically designed to tackle the educational and training needs of migrants by equipping adult education professionals, trainers and professionals with the tools needed for engaging migrants in entrepreneurial initiatives as well as increasing their participation in such activities. The curriculum is expected to increase the participation of migrants in the socio-economic life and involvement of migrants in educational programmes. The project is coordinated by Krinova Incubator, Sweden, and brings together organisations from Cyprus, Denmark, Italy and Germany.

BizMiz – Next Generation Women Technology Entrepreneurs

The project aims to facilitate the access of women to the technology sector and provide the tools for them to become successful technology entrepreneurs. BizMiz focuses on the development of bespoke entrepreneurship training resources and on the development of a safe and supportive online educational environment where women technology entrepreneurs can congregate; develop their business ideas; engage with like-minded individuals; and push through the ‘glass ceiling’ that pertains in the modern economy. The project brings together partners from Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Portugal and the UK. It is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union for the period 2018-2020.

NEUROGUIDE: Building Key Competences Through Challenge based Learning

NEURO-GUIDE is an Erasmus+ funded project, running from September 2018 to October 2020. The idea behind the project is to provide marginalized young people a chance to catch up witch fast evolving world of technology. The NEURO-GUIDE project focuses on disadvantaged students: those from low socioeconomic backgrounds, or with disabilities, or living in remote areas. It will develop and use online escape room challenges to encourage the development of creative and critical thinking skills, as well as skills to research, select, analyse, organize and present information.

PandPAS - Pre and Post Arrival Schemes to facilitate inclusion and prevent xenophobia and radicalization

The project aims to promote inclusion and prevent xenophobia and radicalization. It focuses on post-arrival support for the integration of people who require international protection while at the same implements a comprehensive Local Action Programme for the inclusion and the active participation of refugees in the hosting territories. The project brings together partners from Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Portugal and Cyprus. It is co-funded by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) for the period 2017 - 2019.

ERFAL - Exchange of practices for disadvantaged people

The project aims to establish a thematic network at European level in order to share experience on different topics in the area of integration of disadvantaged people. Language barriers can have extremely negative effects on health because people who face linguistic barriers are less likely to search medical help, follow medical advice, go to follow-up appointments or receive preventive services. The main project outcome (First Aid Language Kit) will provide migrants with country-specific information on the healthcare systems as well as language skills for successfully seeking and receiving medical help in host as well as migrant languages. RESET - Pedagogy for Workforce Transition

The RESET aims to realise the potential of older workers and of adult education providers by developing a comprehensive suite of bespoke curricula and learning resources to develop the skills of older workers as social researchers and to support them in developing their new business models, and also an in-service training programme to support adult educators delivering the new curriculum resources. Sign Language - Syria

The project aims to support the educational needs of adult deaf Syrian migrants by adding the Syrian Sign Language to an already existing on-line educational tool “Spread the Sign." Apart from translating the dictionary in Arabic language and Syrian Sign Language, the Greek, Cypriot and Bulgarian sign languages will be added as these neighboring countries to Syria and Turkey are in great need to support appropriately the hearing impaired Syrian migrants. Other beneficiaries will be people with hearing disabilities in partners’ countries and all over Europe, sign language teachers, sign language interpreters, and special education teachers in adult education. The project brings together organisations from Sweden, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus. It is funded under the Erasmus+ programme for the period 2017-2020.

The project MAV views integration as an interactive system of relationships, related to choice and needs.
